Junior Membership
West Byfleet Golf Club has a very strong and up and coming Junior section.
The Club enters junior teams into the Guildford & District league, Rookies U/14 and U/18 leagues and Christies Cup knockout competitions, as well as holding a 36 hole Junior Club Championships, Junior Open and running various Stableford competitions throughout the year.
Our team won the 2023 edition of the Christies Cup!
We also enter an Interclub competition, playing at Bramley, Burhill, Effingham, Farnham, Guildford & Surbiton GC.
Many of our Juniors enter the Rookies Tour events, held by Surrey Golf throughout the Year.
Junior Woodpecker Academy
West Byfleet Golf Club operates a very successful golf academy for children aged 9 to 15 which then allows for children to progress into Junior membership of the Club, subject to availability.
Our next Junior Woodpecker Academy is scheduled to begin in May 2024. Please click on the link below for more information, and email the office with a completed Consent form in order to apply for a slot. The 18 week programme is heavily subsidised by the club and therefore costs students just £200.

Adoption of England Golf Safeguarding Policies and Procedures
You may be aware that England Golf recently launched a framework for clubs to ensure best practice with regard to safeguarding. Following a detailed review by the board the club has adopted the Children and Young People Safeguarding Policy and Procedures and the Adult Safeguarding Policy and Procedures .
