Men's Invitation Meeting 0900 Shotgun Rules

1. Eligibility. Open to 7-Day Adult Male Members.


2. Format. The Men’s Invitation Meeting is an 18-hole 4BBB Stableford event with a shotgun start. It is played on a handicap basis. Additional tee times will be made available for those teams who wish to play a social game of golf after the meal.


3. Guests. A guest must be an adult male member of a recognised golf club and have a CDH number and handicap. A 5 Day member of West Byfleet Golf Club may not be a guest.


4. Entry Fee. The entry fee will be determined by the Committee and will include coffee on arrival, lunch and prizes.


5. Tees. Tees will be determined by the Club on the day.


6. Closing Date. The closing date for entries will be detailed on the entry form. The Golf Operations Manager is authorised to take entries after this date if the limit on numbers has not been reached.


7. Prizes. Prizes awarded for top three finishers. Additional prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the General Manager.


8. Ties. In the event of a tie there will be a Card Play-off. See Definitions in Section 1.


9. Handicap Allowance. In four-ball better ball each player’s Playing Handicap will be calculated as 85% of his Course Handicap, rounding only at the end of the calculation. Competitors will play off the Playing Handicap indicated in the IG app.


10. Submission of Scores Members must submit their team score either by using the IG app or by using the PSI terminal located in the Spike Bar, if available, and placing their completed scorecard in the Competition Box.
