St George's Day Trophy Rules

1. Eligibility. The St George's Day Trophy is open to all seven day adult members playing an 18-hole round on the day of the competition. Junior members with a maximum handicap index of 13.3 for boys, and a maximum handicap index of 12.7 for girls (equivalent to a Course Handicap of 15 from the mens white tees and ladies red tees) are eligible to enter.


2. Format. There will be both an individual and team event played. 
   Individual Stableford play over 18 holes.
   Team Event A Bowmaker Stableford, with the best two scores to count on each hole.


3. Guests One guest per member is eligible to play and subject to an additional £10 entry fee. Guests must have a valid CDH number.


4. Handicap Allowance. 
   Individual Competitors will play from the Playing Handicap which is calculated at 95% of their unrounded Course Handicap. This calculation can be found either on the IGmember app, or on the WHS 95% handicap tables located in the clubhouse foyer.
   Team Event Competitors will play from the Playing Handicap which is calculated at 85% of their unrounded Course Handicap. This calculation can be found either on the IGmember app, or on the WHS 85% handicap tables located in the clubhouse foyer.

6. Ties In the event of a tie, results will be determined by a card play-off as defined in the Competition Reference File.


7. Submission of Scores Members must submit their scores either by using the IG app or by using the PSI terminal located in the Spike Bar, if available, and placing their completed scorecard in the Competition Box.


8. Prizes
   Individual Prize money will be awarded to the winner and runner-up, irrespective of gender, in each of the three divisions.
   Team Event Prize money will be awarded to the winning and runner up teams.
